Construction

The Luggage Strap Mount is manufactured from 4 mm laser-cut aluminium, precisely pressed and CNC formed to achieve excellent rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum.

Unlike conventional flat brackets, the pressed profile creates smooth, radiused surfaces that allow luggage straps to tension securely without sharp edges that can damage or fray webbing during repeated use. The formed construction also increases structural strength while maintaining a compact profile.

Finished in a durable textured black powder coat, the mount bolts directly onto the motorcycle's existing pillion footrest mounting point using the supplied hardware, requiring no permanent modifications.

Functionality

The Luggage Strap Mount provides an additional lower anchoring point for soft luggage, allowing straps to be positioned more effectively for improved load security.

When paired with the Auto Engina Saddle Stay, it helps stabilise larger saddle bags, waterproof duffels and expedition luggage by reducing movement over rough roads, trails and uneven terrain.

The additional anchor point also allows riders greater flexibility when packing different luggage combinations for weekend rides or extended touring expeditions.

Design Philosophy

Touring luggage should remain secure without relying on complicated strap routing.

The Luggage Strap Mount was developed to create a dedicated anchoring point exactly where riders need it most, making luggage easier to secure while improving stability throughout the ride.

It is a small component that makes a significant difference once the motorcycle is fully loaded.

Aesthetics

The Luggage Strap Mount has been designed to complement the motorcycle rather than stand out.

Its compact pressed aluminium construction follows the lines of the pillion footrest assembly, while the textured powder-coated finish blends naturally with the surrounding components. The result is a clean, integrated appearance that looks purpose-built for the Apache RTX 300.
